About the Project‍
The Commercial Rating and Pricing Integration Platform is a service facade that unifies the complex process of insurance policy calculations under a single API. It serves as the central calculation system, used by other customer applications that collect information for insurance policies.

In this project, we process large volumes of data, develop a convenient API, orchestrate distributed tasks, manage parameter versioning, and implement calculators that operate on massive datasets at lightning speed.

Currently, the stack of the project involves Java 17, Kotlin 1.8, Spring Boot 3, Spring Security, PostgreSQL, MyBatis, Spring Data, Liquibase, Camunda 7, Kafka, RESTful API, Maven, MS Azure, Docker, Kubernetes on the Backend. And also, Angular 17, NGRx, NodeJS, Fastify on the Frontend.

About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Automation QA Engineer with extensive project experience, ready to join our team and integrate into current workflows. You will dive deep into the backlog and CI/CD processes, actively contributing to our agile development teams and ensuring quality throughout the entire software development lifecycle.



What you will be doing:

  • Analyzing and reviewing software requirements and feature descriptions
  • Participating in creating DoDs, DoRs, ACs, etc.
  • Developing, maintaining, and reviewing checklists and test cases
  • Performing manual functional testing of features under development
  • Validating identified defects and testing fixes manually
  • Automating test cases and test scenarios
  • Reviewing and maintaining automated tests
  • Utilizing TMS and CI/CD tools and contributing to building robust software testing processes
  • Implementing and maintaining QA/QC metrics and reporting to stakeholders
  • Participating in Scrum meetings and refinement sessions
  • Collaborating with multinational teams, including POs and internal/client-side stakeholders
  • Communicating with stakeholders at various levels and from diverse backgrounds


Your skills and experience:

Bachelor’s degree in an IT-related field or equivalent work experience

  • Proficiency in English (minimum B2 level)
  • Understanding of Agile methodology (SAFe is a plus)
  • Strong knowledge of Software Development and Testing Life Cycles
  • Extensive experience in manual testing
  • Strong knowledge of test design techniques and approaches
  • Hands-on experience in functional and integration automation testing
  • Experience testing microservice-based systems
  • Java Core/Advanced level proficiency
  • Professional experience with CI/CD systems (Azure DevOps, Confluence, Jira, Git)
  • Previous hands-on experience with SQL
  • Experience using Confluence, Jira, Zephyr TMS or similar tools
  • Understanding of Maven/Gradle lifecycle
  • Experience with TestNG/JUnit5 or similar frameworks
  • Experience with Rest-Assured or other HTTP clients
  • Knowledge of Java automation patterns and proficiency with testing tools and libraries
  • Ability to describe processes using flow diagrams/BPMN or similar representations
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including risk identification and mitigation
  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with internal and external stakeholders
  • Proactive and flexible approach


Nice to have:

  • Core understanding of performance testing
  • Knowledge of SSO, SAML/OAuth
  • Willingness to mentor MQA/AQA team members
